One location is the Sportrock Climbing Centers gym has two centers, one in Sterling and the other in Alexandria. They offer over 15,000 square feet of climbing space, with routes for beginners and advanced climbers, lead climbing, top rope climbing, and bouldering. They also provide training and classes for all skill levels.
Another location for indoor rock climbing is Vertical Rock Tysons Bouldering, it’s an indoor climbing gym located in Tysons just east of Loudoun. It offers a wide range of climbing experiences for people of all skill levels, with a focus on bouldering. Bouldering is a type of climbing that is done without ropes and typically on lower walls. This climbing gym has over 8,000 square feet of climbing surface, including various boulder problems, from beginner to expert level. They also have a dedicated training area that includes a campus board, moon board, hang board, and a weight room to help climbers improve their strength and technique.
